As a Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) Financial Counselor, you'll work directly with clients to create personalized strategies for financial and employment success. Your coaching will help remove obstacles and open pathways to homeownership, entrepreneurship, and overall economic stability. Success In This Role Looks Like:

  • Building long-term, trust-based relationships with clients while guiding them through budgeting, credit building, and financial planning.
  • Facilitating access to debt consolidation, employment assistance, and income-boosting resources.
  • Designing and leading community workshops on topics like financial literacy, homeownership, and entrepreneurship.
  • Collaborating across departments and community partners to advocate for clients' needs and connect them to resources.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely data to track client progress and ensure program compliance.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Service's field and/or business management preferred or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Previous experience in workforce development and social services with target population, program administration with proven organizational skills, and an understanding of benefits programs rules and requirements.
  • Experience with financial collections and general office administration and/or work with similar service program.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
