Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial operations including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and investment oversight
- Prepare and present financial statements, executive summaries, and Board packages
- Oversee annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning
- Supervise cash flow, treasury operations, and risk management
- Ensure full compliance with GAAP standards and tax regulations
- Direct the financial scope of capital projects and IT system oversight
- Evaluate insurance programs and manage all Club-wide risk exposures
- Serve as signer on bank accounts and manage corporate credit cards
- Collaborate with external auditors and facilitate smooth audits
- Provide strategic leadership to the HR Manager, overseeing:
- Talent acquisition and onboarding
- Benefits and compensation
- Labor law compliance
- Organizational development and training
- Conflict resolution and employee relations
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze monthly and quarterly Club financial performance
- Act as a strategic partner to the GM/COO and Board on financial and operational matters
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate key contracts
- Support HR operations and ensure alignment with Club values and employment law
- Optimize financial software and Club technology systems
Preferred Experience & Attributes
- Bachelor's in accounting, Finance, or Business (required); CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, including 5+ years at the executive level
- Proven success leading Finance and HR functions in a service-oriented environment
- Experience in capital project finance, club/hospitality settings preferred
- Executive presence with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High proficiency in Excel and accounting systems; club-specific software a plus
- Deep understanding of financial compliance, strategic planning, and team leadership
