Stable10 is excited to be partnering with a fast-growing Silicon Valley tech company as they prepare for IPO readiness. As they expand globally, they're seeking a Financial Controller to mature their accounting function, driving accuracy, compliance, and scalable infrastructure across the board.
This is a high-autonomy, hands-on leadership role. You'll be responsible for maturing core accounting operations, implementing NetSuite, and establishing global internal controls across multi-entity structures. It's a rare chance to architect the finance foundation of a future category leader-balancing operational ownership with strategic input at a pivotal point in the company's journey.
You'll lead month-end close, revenue recognition (ASC 606), and oversee AP, AR, payroll entries, and tax compliance. The role will also be central to the company's first financial audit and future SOX readiness. As the finance organization grows, you'll play a key role in building and mentoring the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
- Lead the NetSuite ERP implementation and automation of accounting processes
- Develop and enforce internal controls and audit-ready policies
- Maintain compliance with US GAAP, ASC 606, and international reporting standards
- Oversee AR/AP operations and intercompany consolidations
- Support tax filings, statutory reporting, and financial audits
- Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing accounting function
What You'll Bring
- CPA-qualified with deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
- 5+ years of experience in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role
- Prior experience leading a NetSuite implementation (required)
- Strong operational accounting and financial reporting experience across global entities
- Track record of building scalable processes in high-growth, founder-led, or pre-IPO companies
- Leadership presence with the ability to operate independently and cross-functionally
This is a unique opportunity to help define the financial engine of a mission-driven company. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to help shape the foundation of a global tech leader, we'd love to hear from you.
