Financial Controller

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide direction to a mid-sized accounting team, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and deadlines are met.
• Oversee the closing process with precision and consistency, spanning over two dozen active legal entities.
• Maintain alignment between various arms of the business - handling intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidated reporting across 25+ entities.
• Lead vendor management and disbursement efforts with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement.
• Serve as the point person for internal controls and external reviews.
• Work across departments on broader business initiatives where finance plays a key role.
• Champion better systems and workflows, not just for today, but for where the business is heading.
• Provide financial support during times of change - including integration, transition, and expansion.

What You Bring:

• A formal background in accounting, with the credentials and experience to back it up.
• A track record of leadership - particularly in settings where the stakes are high and the pace is fast.
• Hands-on experience managing intercompany activity and financial consolidation for a multi-entity environment (25+ entities preferred).
• Familiarity with large systems and the ability to navigate data-heavy environments.
• A mindset that balances structure with adaptability, and diligence with big-picture thinking.
• Strong instincts for team building, communication, and continuous improvement.
