Financial Business Systems Analyst with Security Clearance

An Active Secret clearance is required for consideration Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Financial Business Systems Analyst to analyze business process and financial data systems/technologies for a long term, DoD program based out of The Pentagon . This candidate will bridge the gap between business and technical solutions to produce specifications critical to the success of the program. This role is 100% on-site based in Arlington, VA and requires an Active Secret Clearance for consideration. Responsibilities: Performs detailed analysis of existing systems, financial processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement or automation. Assesses system capabilities, financial data flows, integration points, and user interfaces to ensure alignment with business and compliance objectives. Utilizes Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to enhance financial reporting, data visualization, and process automation. Develops dashboards and predictive models for tracking financial trends, compliance, and risk management. Works closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and financial management personnel to design solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements. Creates system design documents, wireframes, and prototypes to illustrate proposed solutions and facilitate discussions. Conducts financial data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that enhance decision-making, cost efficiency, and resource allocation. Supports financial risk assessments and recommends mitigation strategies. Participates in system testing activities to validate that the implemented solution meets the defined business, financial, and compliance requirements. Develops test plans, test cases, and performs testing to identify defects or issues. Requirements: Active Secret Clearance Bachelors Degree and 4 - 7 years of relevant experience Experience with Financial Management, audit readiness, or DoD financial reporting Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, or Power Apps and RPA tools Familiarity with DoD financial management, budget execution, and audit compliance is a plus Compensation: Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave if required by Law This job posting opens on 3/21/2025 and will remain open for at least 30 days from the posting date
