Job Description Active TS/SCI with Poly Required This position is providing support in multiple locations in the Northern Virginia area This position performs highly complex project accounting activities, reviews client contracts, ensures accuracy of project activities, and recommends changes in financial procedures. This role has the responsibility to serve as the Project Business Services (PBS) lead for small and medium-sized projects and supervise other assigned PBS analysts.
• Participate in the Commercial Alignment Process and preparation of the Integrated Framework Checklist for the Project Business Plan and Project Integrated Framework Alignment meetings
• Review and analyze project financial performance and assist project management in understanding and communicating financial issues and performance
• Provide regular guidance and training to technicians and lesser-experienced analysts and give performance appraisals for assigned analysts
• Understand the profit drivers on projects
• Analyze foreign exchange transactions and accounting matters for projects executed across multiple geographies
• Understand local statutory and tax requirements impacting project execution
• Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Basic Job Requirements
