Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with expertise in data analysis, report creation, and software implementation to join our team. If you're experienced with accounting systems, have a strong background in SharePoint or desktop-to-cloud software implementation, and are proficient in using Power BI for reporting, this role could be a great fit for you.
Overview of the Financial Analyst role:
- Perform detailed financial analysis, identify trends, and create comprehensive financial reports using tools like Power BI.
- Analyze accounting data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Lead or assist in implementing SharePoint or desktop-to-cloud solutions, improving accounting systems and workflows.
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure successful software integration and transition.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, financial audits, and budgeting processes.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications for the Financial Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong focus on data analysis and financial reporting.
- Proven experience in software implementation, especially SharePoint or transitioning accounting systems to cloud-based platforms.
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar reporting and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
