Finance Analyst
JOB OVERVIEW
The Key objective of the Finance Analyst is to contribute to the growth and profitability of Multi-Pak Packaging by effectively executing financial analysis and reporting to assist the overall organization. This position will have responsibility for a multitude of tasks including Company and customer profitability reports, customer job quoting, budgeting, inventory management and reporting, and select analysis to help drive Company strategy and decision making. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
• The finance analyst should have the ability to perform analysis to assist the current and future direction of the business. The reporting will include but not limited to:
o Customer and Company profitability reports
o Year end budgeting and forecasting
o Weekly and monthly budget tracking vs actual
o Cash flow forecasting
o Payback analysis
• Commercialize and manage quoting process - source costs, assess profitability and present to management
• Serves as the lead for Multi-Pak and client inventory, responsible for cycle counts, mid-year and year-end physical inventory's, client quarterly inventory's, and weekly and monthly inventory reporting.
• Manages an inventory specialist who will assist with cycle counts and physical inventory's
• Address all incoming customer questions regarding inventory
• Perform budgeting, planning, and forecasting functions; prepare monthly budgeting and forecasting data and variance analysis for G&A, Operations, Capital and other key metrics.
• Review data trends including production run profitability and report results to identify potential issues, opportunities, and solutions for the business
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
• Prepare documentation for external stakeholders including customers and auditors
• Ability to review financial statements, modify, and make recommendations to management

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Background in FP&A
• 5+ year's accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing business
• Experience in QuickBooks Enterprise, Fishbowl and other ERP systems
• MS Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly analytical critical thinker
• Strong analytical problem-solving aptitude with creative solutions, ability to organize work with large amounts of information efficiently, manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Able to work as a team player
• Open to development of skills and knowledge
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
This job is mostly an office job. However, there will be times when the person will be required to go to the production lines to gather data for analyses and the warehouse to assist in counting inventory.
