About the role

As a Financial Analyst you will play a vital role in providing financial insights and support for various aspects of our business. Your responsibilities will include analyzing sell-out reports, assessing beauty advisor productivity, reconciling credit card transactions, tracking sales performance incentive funds, and contributing to budget management. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve the overall efficiency of financial operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell-Out Report and Inventory Analysis: Generate and analyze sell-out reports, assessing the productivity and inventory on hand of retailers. Provide actionable insights to improve sell-out performance and optimize inventory levels.
  • Beauty Advisor Productivity Analysis: Evaluate and report on the productivity of Beauty Advisors. Identify opportunities for performance improvement and efficiency in beauty advisor operations.
  • Credit Card Reconciliation and Coding: Reconcile credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Code transactions appropriately for accurate financial reporting.
  • Sales Performance Incentive Funds Tracking: Monitor and track sales performance incentive funds. Provide analysis and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of incentive programs.
  • Budget CAPEX and Personalization Tracking: Track budgetary expenditures related to capital expenditures (CAPEX) and personalizations. Identify and assess the impact of personalizations on sell-out performance.
  • Testers Allocation and Process Optimization: Track testers allocation in department stores and collaborate with the sales team. Identify opportunities for process optimization to enhance efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and track other local expenses, contributing to the improvement of current processes. Recommend and implement enhancements for better expense management.
  • Assist on Other Specific Tasks: Support various financial tasks, including budgeting, specific analysis arising from operations, HQ, or other sources. Collaborate with teams to address specific financial challenges and contribute to problem-solving.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, beauty industry practices, and financial best practices is a plus.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably in retail operations or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and other relevant software.
