We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Financial Analyst to join our Los Angeles-based team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional to leverage their analytical expertise to add value within a high-growth, global fashion brand.
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the financial analyst will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy to support retail expansion, international growth, and new market opportunities.
You will be responsible for maintaining the company's financial projection models and annual budgets while supporting leadership with other ad-hoc analyses as assigned. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated outlier career success and a deep understanding of financial principles and analysis. A passion for fashion, consumer, and retail will also be considered.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop financial models and other analyses to evaluate business performance, assist with monthly and longer-term financial planning, and support strategic initiatives
- Prepare executive-level financial presentations and reports for C-suite and board
- Assemble financial statements to complete monthly, quarterly, and year end variance-to-budget reports; assist with annual budgeting process and partner cross-functionally
- Perform financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting tools, with an emphasis on ERP (D365) and business intelligence improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a record of high academic achievement
- 1 - 4 years of investment banking, private equity, or leveraged finance experience
Analytical & Technical
- Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills; experience with financial statement analysis and other valuation methodologies
- Excellence in synthesizing complex financial data into actionable business insights via presentations and other written documents
• While not required, prior experience analyzing consumer and retail businesses is additive - While not required, proficiency in Microsoft D365 (and other BI tools) a plus

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally with business partners

- Salary range: $95,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience
