The Financial Administration Intermediate Analyst will support budgeting, expense tracking, and reporting for our clients. This role includes reviewing monthly and annual excise distributions, total returns, Board reports, and year-end tax reporting. The Analyst will assist in the preparation of quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports in line with GAAP and SEC requirements, and help with SEC filings (e.g., N-CSR, N-CEN, 24F-2, N-1A).
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and update vendor info and payment instructions for fund expenses
- Perform reviews of excise distributions and total return calculations
- Prepare quarterly Board reports and assist with year-end tax reporting
- Support the preparation and review of financial statements and SEC filings (e.g., N-CSR, N-CEN)
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and host training sessions
- Handle client inquiries and ad-hoc requests as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or reporting in the financial services industry
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Strong understanding of financial markets, mutual funds, and ETFs
- Experience with SEC filings and regulatory requirements is essential
