Job Summary:
Infinite Computing Systems is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to act as a key liaison between finance, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, and digital technology teams. This role requires a strong decision-maker who can guide operational teams, troubleshoot financial discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial data processing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial oversight, cost analysis, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaison & Operations Support:
Serve as the main point of contact between finance and various departments, ensuring accurate data flow.
Monitor and troubleshoot system transactions in JDE, confirming correct financial recording and processing.
Resolve discrepancies in inventory movement, work orders, invoicing, cost allocations, and tracking.
Align financial processes with operational workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in TIER meetings, providing financial insights on labor costs, material variances, and budget concerns.
Finance Oversight & Cost Management:
Identify and implement process improvements across cross-functional teams.
Conduct spot audits on journal entries, work order closings, and inventory cycle counts.
Ensure the accurate allocation of costs into appropriate accounts.
Work with multiple sites to maintain cost consistency and financial alignment.
Reconcile transactions and resolve financial discrepancies.
Provide backup support for payroll, PTO tracking, and timekeeping reconciliation.
Financial Reporting & Closeout:
Assist with journal entries and month-end closeout processes.
Ensure data accuracy in cost allocations and financial reporting.
Collaborate with sister sites to facilitate smooth transitions into ERP systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
10+ years of experience in finance, payroll, and cost analysis.
MRO operation experience preferred.
Expertise in journal entries, financial auditing, SOX compliance, and work order reconciliation.
Proficiency in JDE, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot financial discrepancies.
Flexible work hours as needed to support financial operations.
