Summary of Position:

The IT Finance Specialist position is ideal for a recent college graduate with 3 years of experience in a related finance role, who is eager to apply their knowledge and drive in a dynamic technology division. This role demands a professional capable of validating expense transactions accurately, facilitating strategic financial management across various departments, and possessing a strong desire for personal and professional advancement.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyze transaction details on incoming billing documents, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of charges, with an emphasis on quick thinking and efficient decision-making.
  • Engage with business units to provide necessary expense documentation, demonstrating the ability to navigate modern technology applications swiftly.
  • Coordinate with leadership on the financial obligations approval process and address urgent settlement needs, showcasing a demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters, including dispute resolution and account inquiries, requiring effective communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of management.
  • Ensure vendor setup accuracy, contribute to procurement and finance team efforts, and display strong project management skills aimed at solving business problems with technological solutions.
  • Oversee cost distributions, maintain allocation databases, and identify process improvements, highlighting an innovative, creative, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Lead and complete special projects, embodying a team player mentality while also capable of working independently and making informed decisions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, suited for a recent college graduate with 3 years of experience in finance operations.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and enterprise resource planning systems, as well as a general knowledge of accounts payable/receivable functions.
  • Exceptional financial data analytical skills, with experience in preparing high-level reports from raw data.
