Description Markon is seeking Finance Support Specialists to support our NRO client at multiple locations across the US. Responsibilities The ideal Finance Support Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks: Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements and related data.
Provide accounting and financial administrative support.
Support cost estimating, budget execution, and financial performance tracking.
Coordinate financial planning and execution activities with OSL and NRO Business Plans and Operations (BPO) Directorate.
Ensure consistency and repeatability in financial processes across the organization.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Perform program control functions and align efforts with launch service contract objectives. Qualifications Required: TS/SCI with a Counterintelligence Polygraph (Preferably with this client)
High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree required (dependent on level)
2-10+ years of finance or accounting experience
Experience preparing financial reports and reconciling data
Proficiency in financial management systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Desired: Prior experience with NRO or defense financial systems
Understanding of government budgeting and cost estimation practices
Familiarity with performance metrics and financial controls
Experience working in program control or acquisition finance Salary Range USD $115,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr. The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
