This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Media company and gain valuable experience in a high-visibility finance role. The position offers the chance to work through the holiday season and secure a role in a slower job market. This is a fixed-term maternity cover responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the Gaming & Emerging Media division.
Responsibilities- Manage the monthly close and reconciliation of revenue and expenses, resolving discrepancies with the accounting team.
- Partner with Controllers and Ancillary COE teams to ensure accurate recording of transactions, including accruals.
- Prepare cause-of-change analyses to explain P&L variances against forecasts, budgets, and prior year.
- Ensure all FP&A outputs are delivered accurately and on time, in line with Corporate Finance deadlines.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for Games & Emerging Media.
- Maintain Longview planning units for efficient financial reporting and adapt reporting to reflect any changes in the global financial planning system.
- Manage detailed planning templates for business teams and track live updates to ensure targets are met.
- Partner with the Gaming and Emerging Media business teams to present financial results and explain fluctuations from forecasts.
- Manage expense codes for marketing and production across new games and categories.
- Support quarterly participations expense deduction reporting and track intercompany chargebacks.
- Handle transactional inquiries from the gaming team and provide ad hoc financial modeling for business decisions.
- Conduct ad hoc modeling and analysis to support emerging business initiatives.
- Perform other tasks as necessary.
Qualifications- 5-7 years of experience in finance within a media organization, finance team, or accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience with monthly close processes, forecasting, variance analysis, and presenting financial results to business teams.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and Longview is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $48 - 58/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
