Role: Finance Manager
Salary: $130,000 - 160,000/annually

Location: Long Island, New York (Nassau County) - On-Site

About the Role: Growing construction design and materials company is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and evaluate financial documents such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Support the accounting team during month-end closing activities, including accruals and expense analysis.
  • Communicate monthly financial outcomes to the corporate accounting team.
  • Maintain precise financial documentation.
  • Partner with the corporate finance team on various initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
  • Produce monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies and plans.
  • Examine financial data to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis.
  • Create and oversee budgets for departments or projects.
  • Track performance against budget and identify discrepancies.
  • Develop financial forecasts to predict business changes.
  • Offer guidance and support to finance and accounting team members.
  • Ensure finance-related tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Aid strategic decision-making with financial analysis and data.
  • Work with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a financial analyst.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools.
