Our Finance teams partner closely with our operations teams to influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operational excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions. The primary goal is to continuously improve the customer experience while driving long-term profitability across our portfolio of businesses. Our teams experiment, learn quickly from failures, and scale successful initiatives, maintaining a data-driven decision-making culture.

The Europe Grocery Fulfillment Finance team is seeking a Finance Manager to collaborate with Operations leadership across Europe. The role focuses on accelerating insights, influencing productivity improvements, and assessing trade-offs to optimize variable labor costs. The manager will concentrate on one of three pillars: Financial Planning, Field Execution, or Financial Analysis. The successful candidate will influence business owners, support strategic decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. They will work with executives and various business units across Amazon, demonstrating excellent communication skills, prioritizing impactful projects that advance Amazon Grocery.

This role offers opportunities to innovate through large-scale data mining, identify high-impact projects, and solve complex strategic problems affecting the company.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
  • Experience in a finance role, including stakeholder collaboration
  • Proficiency with Excel and data tools such as Python, SQL, or Tableau
  • Experience in financial modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced degree such as CA, CMA, CWA, or MBA
  • Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Experience working in large or multinational teams
  • Ability to communicate complex information to senior stakeholders
