Position: Finance Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Maple Grove, MN
Work Model: Onsite (5 days a week initially, with potential for hybrid flexibility over time)
About the Role:
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Finance Manager to support a key business segment with annual revenue of approximately $60M to $70M. This is a highly visible role, serving as the sole FP&A representative for the segment and acting as a financial business partner to site leadership.
Reporting to the local Controller, this individual will be responsible for full FP&A functions, including financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, strategic planning, and executive partnership. While the role holds a manager title, it will initially be an individual contributor position with no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts for the business segment, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Partner with site leadership to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close processes in collaboration with accounting and finance teams.
- Develop and enhance financial models to support business strategy and growth initiatives.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong background in FP&A, with experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry (required).
- Proven ability to function as a financial business partner to leadership teams.
- Comfortable working independently in a high-impact, individual contributor role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $110K - $130K + Bonus
