JOB TITLE: Finance & Efficiency Senior Manager

Salary and Location

Salary: £83,400pa to £98,000pa plus benefits

Location: Bristol, Leeds, Edinburgh

Working Hours and Pattern

35 hours, full time. Hybrid work style involving at least two days per week at the hubs.

Role Overview

This role involves close collaboration with IP&I's Customer Services leadership, supporting a major transformation initiative (CS Vision) by providing financial insights, advice, and developing a benefits roadmap.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Financial Insights and Advice:
    • Develop a network within CS to understand financial operations.
    • Provide financial insights and advice to CS leadership.
    • Act as the key contact for CS transformation financial matters.
    • Prepare materials on CS's financial position and opportunities.
    • Review financial risks in budgets and forecasts.
    • Collaborate with the CS Finance Partner on budgets and financial treatments.
  2. Identify and Drive Opportunities:
    • Understand CS's cost base through collaboration with Central Finance.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance customer benefits.
    • Lead sessions to manage and track these opportunities.
    • Manage realization of opportunities and report progress.
  3. Develop and Manage Benefits Roadmap:
    • Create frameworks to monitor benefits delivered by CS initiatives.
    • Build relationships with initiative leads to understand benefits.
    • Lead benefits alignment sessions and track progress.
Candidate Profile
  • Finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in identifying and realizing financial savings.
  • Ability to advise senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, simplifying complex information.
