Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead all financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions within the organization. This key leadership role will support the company's continued growth by ensuring strong financial health, optimizing operational performance, and partnering with senior management to drive business strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in manufacturing finance, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to make data-driven decisions that enhance profitability and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, budgets, and long-term forecasting models.
  • Lead financial scenario modeling to evaluate growth opportunities, risks, and optimal cash allocation.
  • Provide key insights and financial recommendations to senior leadership.

Financial Operations & Accounting Oversight

  • Oversee general ledger, payroll, and all accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards, and ensure tax planning and filing requirements are met.

Cost Accounting & Inventory Management

  • Manage cost accounting processes including standard vs. actual cost analysis.
  • Oversee stock control, purchase orders, and manufacturing cost reporting.
  • Conduct pricing and gross margin analysis to identify cost-saving initiatives and profitability enhancements.

Reporting, Analysis & Performance Monitoring

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Lead internal financial reviews and external audit processes.
  • Conduct detailed operational and financial analysis to support performance improvements and strategic decisions.

Cash Flow & Investment Management

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, AR/AP cycles, collections, and banking relationships.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and make investment recommendations aligned with company goals.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Lead initiatives in ERP/Finance system upgrades and digital transformation.
  • Review and improve internal financial controls, accounting processes, and compliance protocols.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Supervise and develop a small finance/accounting team.
  • Partner with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Supply Chain) to drive data-informed decisions and operational excellence.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including auditors, vendors, and financial institutions.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; MBA or Master's degree is a plus
  • 5-10+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally within manufacturing or packaging
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Proven experience in cost analysis, pricing, inventory management, and budget planning
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, audit, tax compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams (3+ members)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and strategic thinking skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
