Job Title: File Clerk
Location: Highland Park, Monroe and Somerset, NJ
Type of Employment: Temporary for 3 Months

Hourly: $18/hr
Job Summary: A nonprofit organization is partnering with LHH to hire a temporary File Clerk to work within their Human Resources Department for about 3 months. The corporate office is located in Highland Park on the edge of Piscataway, but this role will require some days in the Monroe, NJ and Somerset, NJ locations as well. The qualified candidate should have prior corporate office experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong organizational skills.
The hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 5PM with a 30 minute unpaid break (37.5 hours/week). The hourly rate is $18/hr.

Responsibilities: - Organize and archive personnel records and related documents
- Sort files alphabetically and numerically
- Occasionally upload digital files to the company database
- Remove files of personnel that are no longer with the organization
- Perform ad hoc clerical duties as needed
Required Experience: - High School Diploma
- Attention to detail with a knack for organizational systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding the need for discretion when working with sensitive information
- Prior experience working within a human resources department is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
