Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our team. The File Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, organizing documents, and ensuring efficient and secure file storage and retrieval. This role plays a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly by managing both physical and digital filing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and file physical and electronic documents in designated filing systems.
  • Maintain and update file records accurately and timely.
  • Retrieve files and documents upon request for employees and management.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Scan, copy, and digitize documents as needed.
  • Label, catalog, and archive outdated files appropriately.
  • Assist with data entry and basic clerical tasks as assigned.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure files are complete and properly organized.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a file clerk, office assistant, or similar role is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and file management systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Effective communication and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment; may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • May require some lifting or moving of file boxes (up to 25 lbs).
