Position Overview
Air Dynamics Testing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Team Leader to lead Stack Testing projects within the Midwest United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing company equipment and successfully leading and conducting stack testing programs. The Field Team Leader will be working under a Project Manager to conduct project planning, project mobilization/setup/execution, data-collecting, communicating with clients onsite, providing onsite data to clients, and tasked with delivering high-quality results within budget and on schedule according to the scope of work. This role demands a thorough understanding of environmental regulations, strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, ability to learn and adapt to issues in the field, equipment troubleshooting ability, and dedication to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Mobilize to project site
Project equipment preparation
Truck and trailer safety
Equipment setup on project site
Conduct Emissions Testing Program according to scope of work
Tear Down equipment after Test Program
Demobilize and return to base
Field Data Review
Data submitted to the Project Manager for QA/QC
Project samples submittals to lab
Manage assigned Truck & Trailer
Organization and cleanliness of assigned storage bay, equipment, and Truck/Trailer
Manage assigned testing equipment for ongoing use - CEMS and Isokinetic equipment
Coordination with client and Project Manager regarding safety, production data recording, and testing run times
Maintaining Proper PPE adherence for team onsite
Field technician feedback and reviews with Project Manager and assisting with field technician training.
Qualifications
2 years of Stack Testing or prior Environmental industry experience required
Ability to pass Air Dynamics' in-house examinations and training programs.
QSTI Group 1-3 certified or ability to pass QSTI Group 1-3 within 60 days of employment
Ability to lead a team of Technicians in the field.
Ability (or ability to learn how) to execute RATA tests, CEMS tests (Method 6C, 7E, 10), VOC tests (Method 25 and 25A), Isokinetic tests, and FTIR testing.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work at heights up to 300 ft
Ability to operate a manlift at upwards of 120 ft
Physical Requirements
Travel to project sites 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)
Capacity to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and industrial settings
Physically capable of lifting 100 lbs. plus
Compensation
- Hourly pay rate range $30-$35
