Clean Harbors is excited to welcome a Sales Manager in Field Services to our dedicated team. In this dynamic role, you will spearhead revenue growth, expand our customer base, and ensure a robust level of revenue and customer engagement within your district. As the Sales Manager, you will also mentor and oversee a team of Account Managers, driving excellence in service delivery.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Prioritize Health and Safety as the foremost objective by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  2. Drive revenue and margin growth; lead district expansion efforts across Integrated Services (IS), Technical Services (TS), and Field Services (FS); support key account sales initiatives.
  3. Manage the district's sales budget and monitor market activity, responding proactively to competitor strategies.
  4. Meet weekly with your Director of Sales to review district performance and develop strategies for cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and collaboration with operations and customer service teams; address client disputes when necessary.
  6. Guide talent development by recruiting, nurturing, and managing the performance of Account Managers, Specialists, and Sales Representatives.
  7. Conduct weekly performance management meetings and embody our corporate values in all interactions.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven sales and management experience required, with a focus on Field/Environmental Services.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a management role.
  • Exceptional ability to provide feedback on account plans and assign ownership effectively.
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and basic numerical analysis for informed decision-making.
  • In-depth industry knowledge, with skills in upselling and cross-selling across various service lines.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
