Field Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to provide top-tier technical support and service for our equipment and customers. This role is responsible for field service operations, problem-solving, customer training, and ensuring equipment performs to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for channel partners, end users, and field technicians.
- Install or supervise installation of equipment at customer sites.
- Train customers on operation, service, and maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with authority to implement solutions.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to manufacturing and product development.
- Assist the Technical Call Center with issue escalation and technician training.
- Analyze service data and deliver reports on recurring issues (hotspot reports).
- Travel up to 40% (with peak periods exceeding this) to support urgent service needs.
Additional Duties:
- Support field testing, product validation, and new product launches.
- Train service networks on new products and service programs.
- Collaborate with technical publications and global support teams.
- Provide feedback on customer satisfaction and product performance.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- 5 years of relevant field service experience preferred.
- Strong technical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and adapt to dynamic field conditions.
