Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Permanent Field Service Engineer in the Manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our advanced manufacturing systems. If you are passionate about technology, have a knack for problem-solving, and are eager to take on challenges in various industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defense, and more, this is the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level service and maintenance for our advanced manufacturing systems, including lasers, optical systems, photonics, capital equipment, and more.
  • Perform on-site repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Liaise with the engineering team to address and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and other team members as needed.
  • Travel to various client sites to perform field service duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a field service role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in servicing lasers, optical systems, photonics, and capital equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of various industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Defense, and more.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions on the field.
  • Willingness to travel and perform field service duties as required.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.
