Field Service Technician - Power Systems (Tech I-IV)

Key Responsibilities


  • Inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems (up to 500kV)
  • Perform start-up services, data collection, and diagnostics on electrical switchgear, transformers (45 KVA to 130 MVA), and circuit breakers (480V to 15kV)
  • Test and inspect cable installations and operate advanced electrical testing equipment (including Doble Power Factor sets)
  • Support maintenance and reconditioning of oil-filled, dry-type, and SF6-insulated equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair control circuits and transfer schemes
  • Accurately document test results and service reports; maintain records in compliance with industry standards
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to customer emergencies promptly
  • Lead or mentor junior technicians (Tech III & IV roles); manage project crews and ensure jobsite safety
  • Consistently follow all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
