Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot low, medium, and high voltage electrical systems (up to 500kV)
- Perform start-up services, data collection, and diagnostics on electrical switchgear, transformers (45 KVA to 130 MVA), and circuit breakers (480V to 15kV)
- Test and inspect cable installations and operate advanced electrical testing equipment (including Doble Power Factor sets)
- Support maintenance and reconditioning of oil-filled, dry-type, and SF6-insulated equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair control circuits and transfer schemes
- Accurately document test results and service reports; maintain records in compliance with industry standards
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to customer emergencies promptly
- Lead or mentor junior technicians (Tech III & IV roles); manage project crews and ensure jobsite safety
- Consistently follow all safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
