Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician in the St Louis MO area. For over 150 years, they have become a global leader in the design and manufacture of various machines and parts used for maintaining surfaces in industrial, commercial and outdoor environments.
Compensation: $60,000-85,000k (DOE) + $3k sign-on bonus + company car
What You Will Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance on various company equipment (battery, engine-powered and robotic products) at customer sites; troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and combustion engine problems, as needed.
- Plan your daily schedule, including contacting customers to schedule all service activities, and ensure open communication with customers regarding service expectations, timeline estimates, billing, and future service needs; create and maintain records of all service activities and business reporting documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of all company property (to include company vehicle, tools, parts, inventory, and equipment.)
Education and Work Experience:
- At least 4 years of US Military experience required
- 3+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing combustions engines (LP, Diesel, or Gas), mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong skills using hand and power shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.
- Vocational schooling in automotive/diesel/electrical highly preferred
