Field Service Technician

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs.
MUST BE WITHIN DRIVING DISTANCE OF KNOXVILLE, TN or CATOOSA, OK
Plan and coordinate activities concerned with the supervision of installing equipment.
Investigating, and resolving customer reports of technical problems with equipment, and eliminating future operational or service difficulties.
What You'll Do:
- Install or supervise the installation, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Train customers on proper equipment use and maintenance
- Provide exceptional technical support and customer service
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment repair
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel 3 weeks our of 4 (up to 75% depending on location)

COMPUTER SKILLS
Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; or at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid drivers license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
