THE ROLE: Xylem seeks to hire a Field Service Representative to perform a wide range of electrical (120 to 460 volts) and mechanical duties related to on-site field servicing of our products and also performs normal to complex servicing, troubleshooting & repair of pumps in the shop when not in the field. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform a wide range of electrical (120 to 460 volts) and mechanical duties related to on-site field servicing of Flygt products utilizing the "Shops-On-Wheels" and other available resources.
  • Perform normal to complex servicing, troubleshooting and repair of pumps in the shop when not in the field.
  • Moderate physical demand and exposure to shop and field elements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma, evidence of mechanical aptitude, excellent problem solving skills with working knowledge of electricity.
  • Must be self-starter, possess great people skills and have a professional attitude.
  • Candidate must have prior field service and pump repair experience and ability to understand electrical schematics.
  • Candidates who demonstrate experience in industrial/mechanical repair industry may be considered.
  • Individual must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and must be able to obtain DOT certification.
