Field Service Representative - Iraq

The FSR has an understanding of Bell Type, Model, and Series (TMS) aircraft systems and the complex relationships among these systems. The FSR possesses knowledge, skills and abilities to support the operation, installation, modification, maintenance, fault locating and maintenance of aircraft systems and sub-systems.

What you'll be doing as a Field Service Representative
  • Provide on-site company representation and product support for customer's helicopters.
  • Develop and initiate corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services.
  • Utilize technical expertise and company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance by investigating product problems and determine causes.
  • Understand customer expectations and assist in the interpretation and use of support data and documents.
  • Provide technical on-the-job training and act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues.
  • Develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations and with all levels of military customers and company personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services.
  • Provide technical and engineering support for the operation and maintenance of company products at worldwide locations.
  • Prepare cost avoidance, activity, and product status reports to maintain optimal product performance at maximum cost efficiency for Department of Defense and foreign government customers.
  • Maintain competency to provide support in the operation and maintenance of all system of the product to include avionics, airframe electrical, drive train, power plant, and aircraft survivability equipment.
  • Provide Bell management with data and information on customer products, maintenance and operations issues.
THIS POSITION IS BASED IN IRAQ ON A 90/30 DAY ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring To This Role
  • Three years or more experience with one or more Bell products
  • A&P License and/or FCC General Radio Telephone License or military training equivalent preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Outlook
  • Must be able to pass a DoD pre-deployment physical
What you need to be successful
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Two-year degree in business, or related field and logistical experience with military and/or commercial helicopters preferred
  • Bell 505 technical experience preferred
  • Garmin Suite experience preferred
