What You'll Do: As a Field Service Representative, you are the front line of ACR Supply Company, providing technical expertise, hands-on support, and problem-solving solutions to our customers. Whether assisting with equipment troubleshooting, training contractors and ACR team members on best practices, or ensuring timely deliveries, your work directly influences the success of HVAC contractors, the operational efficiency of major businesses, and the comfort of homeowners. It is expected that the Field Service Representative will work a minimum of 42.5 hours per week in accordance to the standard department hours of 7:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Key Responsibilities: - On-Site Customer Support: Provide technical assistance to HVAC contractors, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to install and service equipment effectively. Support sales team through customer facing service expertise. Drive to multiple contractor field service locations when required.
- Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, strengthening partnerships.
- Feedback & Improvement: Gather customer insights and communicate them to ACR Supply leadership to improve our service offerings and inventory management.
- Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Outside Sales, Product Specialists, and Engineers. Work directly with Engineered Products Team, Business Unit Leaders, and Territory Managers to sell and grow HVAC equipment products and OEM parts. Work with warranty processing to ensure accurate returns and crediting. Work with ACR's procurement team to provide expert opinion for inventory levels across the company.
- Travel: This position requires extensive travel between stores, market areas, vendor conventions, and customer sites.

What You'll Bring: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years paid experience in the HVAC industry
- 3 years technical/field service
- Understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration systems
- 1 year experience and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Current and Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Associate degree in science and/or trade school certification (preferred)
- NC State Contractor's License - H1 or H2 (preferred)
- 10 years in the commercial and residential HVAC industry with related product knowledge. (preferred)
- Experience presenting material or curriculum in a variety of settings and audience sizes (preferred)
- 5 years directly supporting sales/marketing account managers (preferred)
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity and strong communication skills
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills, sound business judgment and the capacity for continued growth and contributions to the Company.
- Knowledge of the residential and commercial HVAC industry products and practices
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration cycles, basic electricity, and troubleshooting equipment problems
- Sales and relationship building skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Meet physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. As needed, this role may assist in moving large pieces of equipment up to 100 pounds or greater. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Where You'll be Working: This position works in a variety of locations and conditions and is often required to spend many hours driving or riding in a vehicle. Outside work will be frequently required with exposure to weather conditions, the minority of the work is inside an air-conditioned office and client facilities. This role requires climbing ladders, working on roofs, and crawling under ductwork. Some overnight travel is required. Business-use of personal cell phone required.
