What You Will Do:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot innovative machinery across Scotland, with occasional work in Ireland & England.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults, focusing on servos, compressed air systems, PLCs, inverters, and pneumatic devices.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
- Provide exceptional technical assistance and support to customers, enhancing satisfaction and fostering strong relationships.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to report issues and suggest improvements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Represent the business professionally during site surveys, potential sales opportunities, and general customer interactions.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience as a Service Engineer, ideally within the fenestration machinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with proficiency in drive tuning and calibration of machinery.
- An understanding of fenestration manufacturing processes and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence, with the willingness to travel frequently across Scotland and occasionally to Ireland & England.
