Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Flexible Packaging Machinery (Remote, USA)

Our client, a leader in flexible packaging machinery, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, and service of advanced equipment across the U.S. and Canada. This role requires extensive travel and may include international training at the company's headquarters.


Position Overview:

The Field Service Engineer will handle the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of machinery used in flexible packaging production. This hands-on role involves working closely with customers to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission machinery at customer sites in the U.S. and Canada


  • Ensure setups meet contract specs and product standards


  • Provide training to customer personnel during installations


  • Submit service reports, travel vouchers, and error notices


  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide product feedback


  • Maintain strong customer relations through clear communication



Qualifications:

  • 2 years in field service, maintenance, or machine operations, ideally in paper bag or packaging machinery


  • Experience with PLC, Drive Systems, Siemens, AMK, KEB, Festo, Rexroth, Emmerson Pneumatics


  • Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills


  • Ability to travel up to 95%, including international training


  • Active passport required


  • Excellent communication and customer service skills



Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $80K - $100K, based on experience


  • Weekend Pay: $200 for Sat, $250 for Sun, or comp time


  • Travel Expenses: Fully reimbursed
