Field Service & Automation Engineer

Seeking in-depth knowledge of PLC programming and machine controller troubleshooting, must be able to dig deep and identify the root cause of issues; ability to write diagnostic programs in the field is helpful to succeed. Shall: Visit customer plants to service machine controls ranging from standalone modular testing equipment to fully integrated production lines incorporating advanced conveyors, robots with end effectors, laser metrology and vision systems, gyroscopes, etc. Troubleshoot control programs and modify code; write and run diagnostic programs to identify the root cause of problems and come up with solutions to fix it. Test equipment and systems for performance and verify that controllers communicate with all aspects of machinery and peripheral attachments. Troubleshoot PLCs and modify controller logic for closed-loop systems. Requirements: Extensive PLC and machine controller diagnostic experience.
