Field Sales Manager - Ohio

Position Summary

Play Hard Vodka Seltzer is seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Manager to drive sales growth, distributor management, and brand visibility in the Ohio market. This role will be responsible for managing distributor relationships, expanding our footprint in on-premise and off-premise accounts, and executing sales and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about the beverage alcohol industry, excels in relationship-building, and has a strong track record in field sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Account Management
  • Manage and grow business within assigned territory (Ohio) with a primary focus on on-premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Work closely with distributor partners to execute sales goals, track progress, and optimize performance.
  • Secure new points of distribution (PODs) and increase brand presence in key accounts.
  • Drive sales by meeting and exceeding monthly and annual KPI targets.
Distributor & Retailer Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, bar owners, and key market stakeholders.
  • Conduct communication and ride-alongs with distributor reps to drive sales execution.
  • Provide training and education to distributor teams to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement incentive programs to drive distributor engagement.
Marketing & Brand Activation
  • Plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives to build brand awareness and consumer loyalty.
  • Organize and host trade and consumer events, tastings, and promotions in key accounts.
  • Ensure best-in-class execution for on-premise and off-premise activations.
  • Support digital marketing efforts by coordinating social media engagement, event promotions, and branded content.
Reporting & Budget Management
  • Track and report sales performance, competitive analysis, and market trends.
  • Ensure timely submission of Karma & Expense reports, aligning with company policies.
  • Manage and allocate budget effectively to maximize ROI on activations and sales-driving initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 2+ years of field sales experience in beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of on-premise and off-premise sales strategies.
  • Experience managing distributor relationships and trade marketing initiatives.
  • Passion for the beverage alcohol industry and ability to represent the brand authentically.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned market (valid driver's license required).
  • Must be 21+ years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
