Summary Description

The Field Safety Supervisor will be responsible for providing support to the Safety Manager and Regional Safety Manager as well as coordinate day-to-day safety procedures on the assigned jobs. This position will also assist in reporting incidents and accidents, may assist in getting medical help for injured employees, will conduct investigations of safety sensitive activities and participate in safety meetings.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HSE programs in the field.
  • Report incidents immediately to the Safety and HR departments and completes proper paperwork, (i.e. witness statements, employee reports of injury, etc.)
  • Assist Safety Supervisors in verifying field-staff training and competencies; consult the Safety Manager and Regional Safety Manager for compliance and action plan.
  • Coordinate and participate in safety meetings with the safety team to review issues, trends and upcoming conditions or events.
  • Must be a team player who promotes a clean and safe work environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Safety
  • Special preference given to applicants with meaningful experience
  • Knowledge of different types of field equipment
  • Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
  • Bilingual is a Plus
  • The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities
