Field Operations Manager based in
Chicago, Illinois, to oversee day-to-day field operations and lead a regional team.
This role is a great fit for someone with a strong background in B2B sales and services, particularly to street-level retail businesses. If you're technically minded, skilled in inventory and operations management, and great at building trust with small business owners-this could be your next big opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing: - Lead and manage a team of field service technicians and sales reps across the Chicago area
- Oversee client services and support for existing business accounts
- Recruit, train, and manage field staff while ensuring adherence to company procedures
- Conduct location audits for service quality, stock/inventory, and marketing compliance
- Collaborate with internal departments-sales, support, and collections-to boost operational efficiency
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local business owners and service partners
- Track and improve KPIs, team performance, and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of product hardware and software
- Analyze performance data and prepare regular reports for leadership
- Answer and resolve escalated customer inquiries via phone and chat
- Maintain detailed logs and updates within the company CRM
- Manage warehouse stock control and purchasing
Requirements: - Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (work-related gas, tolls, and parking fully reimbursed)
- Previous experience managing field service or technical teams
- Experience working with street-level retail or service-based small businesses
- Strong technical skills, especially with CRM tools and mobile-based applications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
