Field Operations Manager


Our client is seeking a Field Operations Manager for their Baltimore/Washington/Virginia territory.


The Field Operations Manager will manage a team of eight and will oversee all day to day distribution and warehouse activities, achieve revenue targets and business goals, and train field reps and managers. Must reside in the in the Baltimore, MD/Hanover, MD area.


Responsibilities:

The Field Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the hiring and training of field representatives and general managers
  • Managing day to day operations, budgets, and performance objectives
  • Handling customer issues, legal actions, and incident reports
  • Assigning appropriate supplies, equipment, schedules, and territories
  • Regularly traveling to warehouses and distributors
  • Regularly communicating with both internal and external sales managers


Skills/Competencies:

The ideal Field Operations Manager will possess any of these skills:

  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years in a sales and operations leadership role
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage projects in a high volume environment


Additional Details:

Salary: to $100k base + bonus

Employment Type: direct hire



The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
