Job Summary: The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing localized marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and drive customer engagement in specific regions. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Planning: Develop and implement regional marketing strategies that align with overall company objectives and target audience needs.
- Campaign Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute field marketing campaigns, events, and promotions to generate leads and drive sales.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer preferences, ensuring marketing strategies are data driven.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and corporate marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging, goals, and initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, analyzing metrics and making recommendations for improvement.
- Local Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and influencers to enhance brand presence and drive community engagement.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop localized marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and social media content.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to local sales teams on marketing initiatives and best practices.
- Sales: Assist with sales efforts as needed, including direct selling and product demonstrations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) In this role, you will be responsible for driving the success of field marketing initiatives. Performance will be measured by the following KPIs:
- Lead Generation: Number of qualified leads generated through field events and activities.
- Conversion Rate: Conversion rate of leads to opportunities and ultimately to sales, an indicator of lead quality.
- Marketing Activity Execution: Number of field marketing activities/events executed (e.g., trade shows, workshops, webinars). Adherence to budget and timelines for marketing campaigns.
- Customer Engagement: Number of customer interactions at activities/events
- Return on Investment (ROI): ROI from field marketing campaigns, calculated as revenue generated versus costs incurred. Cost per lead (CPL) for each marketing initiative.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in field marketing or a related role, preferably in a B2C environment. Technical industry experience a plus.
- Proven record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns and events.
- Flexibility to work in varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to support regional initiatives.
Physical Requirements: - Driving: Must carry a valid driver's license and be able to drive within the assigned territory, potentially driving up to 4-6 hours per day.
- Standing and Walking: Extended periods of standing and walking during events, trade shows, and customer interactions, typically ranging from 4-8 hours per day.
- Carrying and Lifting: Occasionally lifting and carrying marketing materials, promotional items, and equipment weighing up to 25-30 pounds.
- Sitting: Sitting for prolonged periods of time, especially during travel and while working on a computer.
- Computer Use: Extensive use of computers and keyboards for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing initiatives.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, which may require physical stamina for extended hours.
- Traveling: Traveling: Frequent travel within the assigned territory and occasional travel in different territories, which may involve driving long distances (up to 4-6 hours at a time). This could be required multiple times per week.
