About The Role

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in consignment inventory, inventory control management, and logistics management. They will have a keen eye for control, process orientation, detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage thousands of storage locations/accounts of consignment inventories in the field with customers and internal stakeholders.


Job Description

The Field Inventory Manager is a key leader focused on both control and agile service for Consignment Inventories.


  • Strategy Execution: Support the business and operation of the consignment inventories business models ensuring both control and customer service.
  • Financial Metrics and KPIs: Inventory Records Accuracy as well as other control/financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) of the Field Inventory and be able to respond to Financial Audits without findings.
  • Project Management: Identify projects to standardize, automate and improve Field Inventory activities, define responsibilities and delegate tasks to appropriate personnel to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
  • 3PL and Carrier Relationship/Management: foster strong relationships and processes with 3PL partners and carriers as well as with the Warehouse/Logistics Manager to ensure alignment with the company's goals and continuous improvement.
  • Root-Cause Analysis: Conduct root-cause analysis of failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Consultation and Improvement: Work with internal business units and all stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Compliance and Quality: Manage compliance with quality control and quality assurance standards and specifications. Respond to audits and be able to pass them without findings.
  • Operations Meetings: Lead operations meetings, addressing issues and outlining necessary actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven years of Inventory Control / Consignment Inventory Management/ Supply Chain experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Advanced analytical skills in Excel and Power BI.
