Job Description:
  • The main focus of the Field Inventory Clerk position will be processing of Inventory transfer documents, and Sales Rep sample stock tracing. In this role, the clerk will work with the team of Field Inventory Trunkstock Coordinators, and the entire nationwide sales force ensuring accurate recording of trunkstock transactions.
  • These stock transfers can include revenue sales, transfers to consignment, zero dollar product giveaways, and the clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical activities in support of their work teams in accordance with standard procedures.
  • This includes clerical duties such as photocopying, compiling records, and filing. Maintains records, prepares forms, verifies information and resolves routine problems.
  • The Field Inventory Clerk will report to the Sr. Field Inventory Group Lead.
Basic Skills/Competencies Required:
  • Basic knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software, within a Windows based environment.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Receive and process Stock Transfer documents.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and replenishment of trunkstock transactions
  • Ensure timely processing and avoid backlog of the Stock Transfer inbox
  • Coordinate, assist, and review the transfer of product.
  • Work with Territory Managers, Procedural Specialists, and Associate Sales Representatives to maintain accurate trunkstock par levles
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to assist in meeting division's field inventory goals, including Customer Service and Contracts.
  • Assist the sales team with product movement.
Customer and Key Contacts:
  • The Field Inventory Clerk will work directly with Territory Managers, Procedural Specialists, and Associate Sales Representatives regularly.
  • The Field Inventory Clerk will also work with the Coordinators on the Field Inventory team
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred.
Experience Required:
  • 1+ years of business operations or customer service experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
