The Aegis Multi-Element Integration & Test Engineer will play a critical role in the integration, testing, operations, and mission support of the Aegis Weapon System (AWS) at the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense Test Complex (AAMDTC) located at the Pacific Missile Range Facility in Kauai, HI. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding and considerable experience with AWS, including console operations, as well as experience solving complex computer system problems and improving performance. The engineer will be responsible for supporting the testing and operation of the AWS, including data analysis to evaluate and troubleshoot system anomalies, and participating in test and evaluation activities. In addition to these responsibilities, the engineer will also provide operational and mission support to ensure the AWS is performing optimally and is ready to meet mission requirements. As part of a small team, the engineer will interface with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer, providing technical expertise and support to ensure the successful execution of tests and operations. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Basic Qualifications:
• Thorough understanding and considerable MEIT experience with Aegis Weapon System
• Experience solving complex computer system problems and improving performance on Windows, and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to install, integrate and evaluate COTS products and tools.
• Understanding of the AWS, ACS interfaces, and SPY radar operations and capabilities.
• Working knowledge of data communications and networking is required.
• Qualified candidate must have a DOD Final Secret security clearance. Obtaining a secret clearance requires US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• CompTIA Linux+ and Security+ Certifications
• Shipboard or land-based Aegis Weapon System (AWS) experience.
• Basic knowledge of real-time computing environments.
• Experience working with Aegis Baselines (9, 9.2.1, 9.2.2, 9.2.3, 10, etc ), and Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense baselines (5.1.4, 5.1.5, etc .)
• Multiple element engineering experience with Aegis Weapons System baselines.
• Working knowledge and experience with data analyzers and debug tools such as wireshark, Nightview, gdb, etc. virtualization environments
• Working knowledge and experience with virtual environments and platforms
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience interfacing with customers.
• Demonstrated ability to own the process and move forward with minimal direction.
• Experience working with DoD systems and architectures
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
