Job Opportunity: IT Field Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated IT Field Engineer to provide exceptional onsite repair services for our clients in the South West area.

As an IT Field Engineer, your responsibilities will include providing onsite break/fix repair services for Desktop PCs, Laptops, and Servers, working independently or with team members on installations, IT Recycling decommissioning, and offering telephone support when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete job progress updates before leaving the customer's site.
  2. Communicate effectively with call allocation and engineering management teams throughout the day.
  3. Complete all allocated work daily and ensure all service administration is finished.
  4. Maintain and locate allocated boot stock.
  5. Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy.
Desired Qualifications
  1. CompTIA A+
  2. CSCS Card
  3. Previous experience in a similar field service repair role.
  4. Strong knowledge of Laptop/Desktop hardware repair methodology.
  5. Server hardware repair knowledge and understanding of RAID principles.
Job Details

This is a full-time position - 37 hours per week, field-based in the South West.

The working days are Monday to Friday.
