CM Labs is seeking a Field Commissioning Specialist for a permanent, full-time position. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of simulator hardware and software, as well as delivering comprehensive training to customers on system operation and maintenance. This position requires extensive travel (90% of the time).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for installation and troubleshooting of simulators.
- Plan and coordinate installation projects, including required documentation, training materials, and software configurations.
- Travel extensively to client sites to install, configure, and train customers on simulators.
- Engage with clients to manage expectations, timelines, and training sessions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to software, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to escalate and resolve technical issues.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain thorough documentation of installations, issues, and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Technical training with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong customer service skills - enjoys engaging and training customers.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working in a Windows environment with experience in Salesforce, scheduling platforms, and email management.
- Experience assembling and handling heavy equipment (lifting up to 50 lbs required).
- Valid U.S. driver's license and passport - must be eligible to travel internationally.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work autonomously.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to use voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
- Previous experience training others, ideally in a trade center or hands-on technical environment.
