We are excited to represent a leading provider of electrical and mechanical calibration, repair and upgrade services as they seek to make a critical, permanent hire within Charlotte, North Carolina.
Our client are seeking a lvl III Field Calibration Technician to lead teams testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting a wide range of metrology instrumentation at customer sites.
Responsibillities:
- Plan the testing and calibration using established procedures.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of assigned Team Members.
- Plan and execute the sequence of testing/calibrations using established procedures.
- Calibrate, adjust, and troubleshoot problems with customers' equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pressure, torque, environmental, and dimensional instrumentation.
- Create, update, and maintain data sheets for test equipment.
- Manage customer relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive the completion of work orders.
You will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in a related field. Electronics technician experience is strongly preferred. Electrical, electronic, or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training also preferred.
- A CCT (Certified Calibration Technician) is a plus.
- Technical knowledge of electronic principles. Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers' locations throughout the United States for up to oneweek at a time.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background security check.
- Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
