Field Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support both on-site and virtually.

• Prepare and present technical presentations for pre-sales support.

• Work closely with customers to get a thorough understanding of their design

requirements.

• Understand the product framework in the field and gather market information.

• Assist in the sale of Design-In and Design-Win.

• Understand market trends in the general embedded market and MCU products

specifically.

• Provide relevant technical training.

Requirements

• MS in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

• Experience in the electronics industry, with emphasis in Arm Cortex-M based

microcontroller products. Experience with industry's most popular MCUs. Familiarity

with the RISC-V ISA is a plus.

• Ability to read, understand and develop C/C Code for Arm Microcontrollers.

• Knowledge of Operating Systems like FreeRTOS is a plus.

• Knowledge of IDE tools including Keil uVision v5 and IAR Embedded Workbench.

• Ability to read electronic design schematics and use of electronic components

including measurement instruments. Knowledge of EDA tools is a plus.

• Familiar with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth protocols.

• Experience with Motor Control solutions.

• Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and

excellent interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel (regional).

• Fluent English speaking.
