Description SAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking a Federal Laboratory Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical advisory (SETA) services to a United States Government customer in Chantilly, VA. SETA contractors provide analysis and engineering services in a consulting capacity, working closely with the government's own engineering staff members. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground. Key Responsibilities: Create Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA), Partnership Intermediary Agreements (PIA), and Collaborative Project Orders (CPO). Streamline the processes of receiving ideas and helping to engage with the interested stakeholder. Perform metrics reporting on the workflow and determine bottlenecks. Track technology transfers from an R&D office to operational users. Conduct engagement and coordination with other Federal Laboratory entities, as well as academia, industry, and government organizations. Engage in outreach activities with stakeholders within the organization to identify transition partners for R&D projects. Communicate technical concepts and information via written and oral communications. Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Poly. BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 14 years of relevant experience. 5 years of technical experience desired. Experience with Patents and Intellectual Property (IP) is desired. Aptitude for on-site SETA work. Effective interpersonal skills and strong briefing and writing skills. Good working knowledge of MS Office applications. Experience working with Confluence and JIRA desired. SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
