Construction Project Manager (Federal Projects DoD Focus)

We're looking for a Construction Project Manager with a sharp mind, steady hands, and a heart for public service. You won't just manage projects. You'll be a trusted advisor to our Department of Defense client-offering Owner's Representative services, protecting government interests, and delivering excellence at every phase.


What You'll Do

Lead the charge on $1M-$300M+ federal construction projects-2 to 4 active at a time.

Represent the Owner with confidence and clarity, from pre-bid through punch list.

Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, technical validations, and construction schedules.

Conduct site evaluations, code compliance reviews, and on-the-ground walkthroughs.

Track submittals, permits, invoices, and progress-staying laser-focused on timelines and budgets.

Lead and contribute to weekly and monthly project meetings.

Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Report project performance using Excel and web-based tools, and deliver insights to senior leaders.


What You Bring

Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture

10+ years of construction experience (or an active GC license with 15-25+ years of relevant experience)

Experience in Federal or DoD construction environments preferred

A knack for ownership, initiative, and leadership

Ability to pass a Public Trust Clearance (HSPD-12 background check)

U.S. Citizenship required


Preferred, But Not Required:

Experience with Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) or projects in the Pentagon

PMP certification or similar credentials

Knowledge of FAR regulations or federal acquisition processes

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $80,000 - $130,000, commensurate with experience

Medical, Dental, Vision

10 PTO Days + Holidays

HSA & 401k with 3% Match

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM Minimal local travel (0-10%)
