PET WANTS MIRA MESA, FARMERS MARKET SALES ASSOCIATE

Are you passionate about pets and love engaging with people? Do you want to work in a fun, fast-paced outdoor setting while helping pet parents find high-quality nutrition for their furry family members? Join the Pet Wants Mira Mesa team as our Farmers Market Sales Associate.

What You'll Do:

Represent Pet Wants Mira Mesa at farmers markets and community events across San Diego county.

Set up and break down our 10x10 branded tent, tables, displays, and products.

Transport all supplies in your own reliable vehicle (must fit a tent, tables, bins, and product).

Engage with pet parents, provide exceptional customer service, and educate them on our premium dog and cat foods, treats, toys and supplements.

Distribute free samples and facilitate purchases.

Drive sales in the market, and drive traffic to the storefront.

Be a friendly, approachable face of Pet Wants Mira Mesa.

Requirements:

Must love dogs, cats and helping others

Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with sufficient cargo space.

Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable and able to operate independently.

Interest or background in pet nutrition or retail a plus (training provided).

Availability on weekdays and weekends (events run 3-4 times per week).
